Managed Database servers
Database servers supplied are used for data analysis, storage, data manipulation and archiving. Database servers are fully adaptable subject to needs and technical requirements, they can be upgraded at any time.
MySQL compatibility features
When MySQL compatibility is required Percona servers are used, which are an enhanced drop-in replacement for MySQL. Percona has a lot of improvements regarding performance and measurability. It also makes it a lot easier for our team to troubleshoot which makes it possible to solve (potential) problems faster.
Server clusters are used, every cluster includes at least two servers. It is, of course, possible to use multiple clusters regarding different databases, for example, various Wordpress instances. The clusters keep in sync using master-master replication utilising global transaction ID's, the most robust replication mechanism currently available for MySQL.
The performance of all database servers is optimised frequently, based on the actual usage. If relevant, advice can be given about indexes and other optimisations that need to be implemented within the application itself.
All servers are monitored regularly 24/7, to make sure they stay available and in optimum condition.
